At LA-Tronics Inc, every laptop, tablet, desktop, component, and accessory we sell is inspected, tested, and graded before it is listed. We stand behind that work. If something isn't right with your order, we make returns straightforward — and we never charge a restocking fee. This page explains how our 30-day return window works, what condition items need to be in, and exactly how to start a return.

The 30-day return window

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery. The window begins on the date your order is delivered, based on carrier tracking. Contact us before the 30th day to start a return (see the numbered steps below) and we'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns apply to items shipped within the United States; we do not ship or accept returns internationally at this time.

Defective, DOA, or not-as-described items — we cover the return, no cost to you

This is the heart of our return promise. If an item arrives defective, dead-on-arrival (DOA), or materially different from how it was described and pictured on its product page, you owe us nothing to make it right. We provide a prepaid return label — we pay the return shipping — and once the item is back, you choose either a full refund or a free replacement of the same item where stock allows.

  • No restocking fee, ever — LA-Tronics does not charge one on any return.

Change-of-mind returns

If the item is exactly as described and simply isn't the right fit for you, that's fine too — change-of-mind returns are still accepted within the same 30-day window, and there is still no restocking fee. The one difference: because the item is as described, you cover the return shipping in this case. Everything else works the same way, and your refund goes back to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the item.

Item condition for a return

To be accepted, a returned item should come back to us in the same condition you received it, with everything that came in the box.

  • Same physical and working condition as delivered — no additional wear, damage, or missing parts.
  • All included accessories returned — chargers, cables, adapters, and any bundled items.
  • Original packaging is preferred; please pack the item well to prevent damage in transit.
  • Please sign out of and remove any accounts, passwords, or activation locks (for example, iCloud, Microsoft, or Google) so we can complete the inspection.

Warranty vs. return — how they differ

Unless a product's details page states otherwise, every item carries a 30-day warranty by default. Some products may specify a longer term — always check that item's product page for its stated warranty. A return is when you send an item back for a refund or replacement within the 30-day window. The warranty covers a functional defect that appears during the warranty period; if your item stops working within its warranty term, contact us and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund. Either way, the first step is the same — reach out with your order number.

Exclusions

Items expressly listed as "for parts / not working" or "as-is" are sold without warranty and are described accurately on their product page for exactly what they are. Because their condition and limitations are disclosed up front, these items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or warranty claims. If one of these items arrives materially different from its description, contact us — we'll always make a genuine not-as-described situation right.

How to start a return

  1. Contact us at info@LA-Tronics.com or (424) 269-2902 with your order number and a short note on the reason for the return (and a photo, if the item is defective or not as described).
  2. We email you an RMA — a Return Merchandise Authorization number plus step-by-step return instructions. For defective, DOA, or not-as-described items, a prepaid shipping label is included.
  3. Pack and ship it back — return the item in the same condition you received it with all accessories, original packaging preferred, and write the RMA number on the outside of the box.
  4. We inspect it — once your return arrives, our team verifies the item and its condition.
  5. We refund or replace — you receive your full refund to the original payment method, or a free replacement if you chose one.
